Their wedding captured by Rene Tate Photography, LLC, Michelle & Ajax have an engagement story that might be just as beautiful as their Oahu elopement! Michelle is Korean-American, while Ajax is Taiwanese, and this sweet couple got engaged on Loving Day – the 46th anniversary of the United States Supreme Court ruling on the Loving v. Virginia case. The historic June 12th verdict struck down existing laws that would prevent a mixed-racial couple from legally marrying. The significance of the date is profound, and full of so much meaning! To exchange vows, Michelle & Ajax decided to elope with Rev. James Chun on Hawaii’s famed North Shore of Oahu, Ke Iki Beach to be exact, on another significant date – Pi Day! While the weather on the island was cold and dreary on the days leading up to, and following, their wedding, the big day turned out to be warm and sunny, which made for some gorgeous sunset shots by Rene Tate Photography, LLC! Michele was simply stunning in her ethereal white frock, with her bouquet pink roses, and island-inspired flower crown. Ajax’s “first look” reaction was so sweet, and emotional, as was their entire wedding day!
